Public transportation in Rotterdam

RET N.V. is the public transport company of the Rotterdam city region. The company runs 5 metro lines, 9 tram lines as well as 58 bus routes. How to get to the Rotterdam Ahoy Conference Centre 

From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, you can reach Rotterdam Central Station in 25 minutes by direct train (ICE, only with supplement ticket) or in 50 minutes (with regular fare).  From Rotterdam Central Station, it takes 10 minutes by metro (lines D and E) to reach the Zuidplein station which is adjacent to the Ahoy conference centre.

From Rotterdam The Hague Airport, you can reach the Ahoy conference centre very quickly, travelling by car, taxi (25-30 minutes) or public transport (50-60 minutes).
Take bus line 33 from Rotterdam The Hague Airport until Blijdorp Metro and change for metro line E. Exit the metro at Zuidplein station. The Ahoy conference centre is adjacent to the station.

The Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is currently facing operational issues for departing flights, leading to long waiting times at the airport.
