ECFS Organised Courses
The objectives of the courses are to impart knowledge to a multidisciplinary audience on each topic. The speakers will provide a clear overview of the most up to date science and cover the key aspects of diagnosis, microbiology and clinical management.
The themes of these courses will include a practical review of the following topics: Diagnosis/ basic Problem /microbiology / Physiotherapy / Nutrition, CF related diabetes / Psychosocial / Future treatments.
The target audience
Early career medical and paramedical health care workers involved in CF care and /or CF research. We aim at a group of 60 people maximum, so that interaction between participants is facilitated. This course is not intended for CF health care workers or scientist with extensive knowledge and experience.
The pre course requirements
Training in medical or biomedical sciences.
Basic knowledge on cystic fibrosis pathogenesis and clinical care is preferable.
