Planned Strike Action - 3rd June

A national strike has been announced in Portugal for 3 June 2026. The strike is expected to have a significant impact on public transport in Lisbon and may also disrupt flights. Please stay informed via your airline’s website and the Lisbon Airport website. Taxis and other transfer services may be in high demand. Please allow extra travel time when travelling from your hotel to the CCL.

Independently of the strike, airports in Portugal are currently experiencing delays related to the new Entry/Exit System (EES). This may result in longer waiting times at passport control for travellers arriving from/going to countries outside the Schengen area.

To minimize the potential disruption this strike may cause to its Customers, TAP Airlines is allowing all passengers holding tickets issued by 20 May for flights scheduled on 3 June to bring their flight forward to dates between 27 May and 2 June or postpone it to dates between 4 and 11 June. These changes may be made without additional charges. Changes can be made here or through travel agents.
