Conference Registration

Delegates do not need to contact the venue Hotel for their accommodation. Rooms have been pre-booked.

The conference programme is currently anticipated to start in the afternoon of Wednesday 30 March and conclude with the conference social function on Saturday 02 April 2022.

COVID-19 Policy

The health and safety of our delegates is of the utmost importance. We will therefore ask all participants to be in possession of a valid full vaccination certificate to take part in the conference. More information

2020 Registration Transfer

Delegates who registered to the Basic Science Conference planned in March 2020, paid the registration fees and did not ask for a refund should select the "2020 Registration Transfer" price category during their registration process. No payment will be due.
 

The Registration fee includes:

Hotel (4 nights) 30 March to 02 April 2022 included - Check out on Sunday 03 April in the morning.
All meals including coffee/tea breaks.
Nearest airport: Faro - shuttle service from/to  Airport (29-30 March and Sunday 03 April 2022)
Social Function on Saturday 02 April 2022
Conference Programme/Abstract book, Certificate of Attendance

1The ECFS member rate is not available for company delegates.

3The 300 Euro registration fee is available for young registrants sharing a hotel room with another participant. All registrations for this reduced fee must include the name of the delegates sharing a room and the number of nights at the hotel. Young Registrants wishing a single room, should register at the Normal Registrants or the ECFS Members Registration Fees. Other delegates willing to share a Twin room should contact david.debisschop@ecfs.eu 

4Sharing same room, but not participating in the Scientific Programme. The registration fee includes the airport shuttle transfer, breakfast and dinner (not lunch), and the social function on 02 April 2022.
5Delegates who paid their registrations for the Conference in 2020 and who have not been refunded are invited to choose the ´2020 conference registration fee transfer´ category when registering to the conference. No payment will be due.

  • If you are submitting an abstract, you must be registered by 02 March 2022 in order for your abstract to be considered for inclusion in the Programme. Registration payment not received by this date may result in the abstract being deleted.
  • Last registration payments must be received by 23 March 2022 or registration will be cancelled.
  • For young researchers, there are a limited number of travel grants, and free registration opportunities. Further information available here.



 

Event Postponement and Cancellation

In case of cancellation or postponement of the conference by the ECFS, delegates will have the possibility to have their registration fees transferred in full to the next Basic Science Conference edition or refunded.
 

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to the ECFS by email (david.debisschop@ecfs.eu). The notification must include all the relevant information regarding the bank account to which a possible refund may be remitted. Account holder´s name, account holder´s address, IBAN and BIC or SWIFT code are mandatory requirements for a refund to be made.
