Dear Colleagues,
I am writing to invite you to participate in one or more of a series of 4 practical workshops proceeding in the best tradition of the past EuroCareCF "hands-on" workshops (2007 and 2008), of which so many of you have still memory.
These workshops (part of a pilot PhD programme) will count with the participation of prestigious faculty (see overall programme) and will focus on:
- WS1. Membrane Signalling & Inflammation. Date: 12-16 Sept 2011
- WS2. Epithelial Cellular Differentiation & Physiology. Date: 19-23 Sept 2011
- WS3. High-Throughput Biology to Approach Epithelia: from Transcriptomics to Functional Genomics. Date: 14-19 Nov 2011
- WS4. Bioinformatics and Systems Modelling. Date: 21-25 Nov 2011
Although part of a pilot PhD programme, these workshops are open to external participants with an interest in the field. Please disseminate this information among your collaborators, in particular those in basic science of CF.
Fellowships are envisaged for young participants working in the field of Cystic Fibrosis. More info at:
