Dr. Julian Zielenski

The ECFS is deeply saddened to report the recent death of Dr. Julian Zielenski.

Dr. Zielenski joined SickKids in 1989 where he began working in the Tsui lab as a Research Associate. In 2002 he became a Project Investigator and in 2007 he became an Associate Scientist at SickKids. He worked on many CFTR and CF projects until he left SickKids in 2010 due to illness. Zielenski passed away peacefully at his home on June 10, 2014.
