As in previous years, the ECFS is happy to announce the availability of travel grants and support for Young Investigators attending the 2017 Basic Science Conference. The application form for these awards can be found under the Associated Documents box.

ECFS Young Fellows Travel Grant
Young investigators (PhD students, post-docs, or those having graduated within the last 12 months) under the age of 35 are eligible to be considered for an award recognizing the research work contained in their abstract submission. The award scheme is applicable for all the abstract categories. The Scientific Committee of the 2017 Basic Science Conference will, as part of the abstract review process, select the abstracts they deem most worthy of this award.ECFS - Student Helpers – Free Registration
A limited number of free registrations will be made available for students under the age of 30 who submit an abstract and who are willing to assist at the conference. Tasks include assisting invited speakers with presentation preparation, microphone duties during Question/Answer sessions, etc. The Scientific Committee of the 2017 Basic Science Conference will, as part of the abstract review process, select the abstracts they deem most worthy of this award.
