Travel Grant Application is closed following the abstract submission process.

As in previous years, the ECFS is happy to announce the availability of travel grants and support for Young Investigators attending the 2013 Basic Science Conference. An application form for these awards can be found under the box "Associated Documents". (CLOSED)

ECFS Young Fellows Travel Grant
Young investigators (PhD students, post-docs, or those having graduated within the last 12 months) under the age of 35 are eligible to be considered for an award recognizing the research work contained in their abstract submission. The award scheme is applicable for all the abstract categories. The Scientific Committee of the 2013 Basic Science Conference will, as part of the abstract review process, select the abstracts they deem most worthy of this award.
Student Helpers – Free Registration
A limited number of free registrations will be made available for students under the age of 30 who submit an abstract and who are willing to assist at the conference. Tasks include meeting delegates at the airport, assisting at the Registration Desk, assisting invited speakers with presentation preparation, microphone duties during Question/Answer sessions, etc. The Scientific Committee of the 2013 Basic Science Conference will, as part of the abstract review process, select the abstracts they deem most worthy of this award.
Vaincre La Mucovisidose - Travel Grants
The French CF association, Vaincre La Mucovisidose, has generously agreed to sponsor a limited number of travel grants to French PhD students, post-Docs, or those having graduated within the last 12 months and under the age of 35, who submit an abstract to the conference. The grants will be awarded based on the merit of the research work contained in the submitted abstract. Travel Grants have been awarded to: |

Italian Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation - Free Registrations

A limited number of free registrations will be made available for students (with a preference to those from Italy) under the age of 35 who submit an abstract. The grant is generously provided by the Italian Cystic Fibrosis Research Foundation and will be awarded based on the merit of the research work contained in the submitted abstract. |
