It is with regret that we communicate that Olga Zegarra-Moran sadly passed away on January 24.
Despite the illness, she was active until her last days designing experiments and managing her projects.
In nearly 25 years of scientific activity, Olga has given a tremendous contribution to the cystic fibrosis field by creating new cell models and methods to investigate the basic defect, by studying CFTR structure-function relationship and by developing new pharmacological tools to modulate CFTR activity.  Olga was a very kind person with a very enthusiastic and contagious attitude towards research.

We will miss her very much.
