Constitution
Name
The name of the organization shall be “The European Psychosocial Special Interest Group” herein abbreviated to EPSIG.
Aims
The aims of the group are:
To promote communication and networking between psychosocial workers working with patients with cystic fibrosis
To stimulate discussion and sharing of ideas among psychosocial professionals working with CF patients and their families.
To prepare the Psychosocial pre-conference program at the European Cystic Fibrosis Conferences.
To share written information and resources in the management of cystic fibrosis (CF)
Membership
Membership of the organization shall be open to professionals working with and interested in the psychosocial care of patients with CF and their families. The committee shall have the right to exclude anyone from the membership if necessary.
Members will be informed about steps undertaken by the organizing committee in order to process the aims of the group. In particular, members will be informed about the forthcoming meetings and are invited to make their suggestions regarding the programme.
The organizing committee is also going to make regular use of short electronic mini surveys in order to enhance membership participation. This will be limited to members.

Management
The organizing committee will hold office for a period of three years. New members can nominate themselves by email and can be elected at the pre-conference EPSIG meeting held in conjunction with the ECFS annual conference.
