ECFS Award 2012 - Prof. Niels Høiby

The 2012 ECFS Award was presented to Professor Niels Høiby in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the understanding of Pseudomonas lung infection and translating this knowledge into better outcomes for people with cystic fibrosis. He was also recognised for his contribution as the founding President of the European Cystic Fibrosis Society and his lifelong commitment to the CF center in Copenhagen.
