European Cystic Fibrosis Society

The European Cystic Fibrosis Society Basic Science Conference is an annual event attracting approximately 100-120 international delegates. The meeting has been running for 6 years and has a growing reputation for the quality of the science.  This year’s programme includes 9 symposia with international experts covering topical aspects of basic research in cystic fibrosis. The programme will be complemented by two key-note lectures as well as four informal and interactive special interest group discussions. Although there is no exhibition space allocated to this conference, there are a number of sponsorship possibilities which we hope you will find attractive. Sponsorship possibilities

Travel and Transportation:

Travel support for young researchers.
National CF Associations are particularly encouraged to support the travel costs for young researchers attending the conference.  If requested, acknowledgement will be made in the Final Programme Book.

Travel Support for Invited Speakers
Companies and Research Institutions are encouraged to sponsor the expenses for individual invited speakers.  This can be either via direct support or by an amount provided to the ECFS as follows:
For European Speakers: Euro 850 (each)
For Speakers from outside of Europe: Euro 1350 (each)
Logo or name of sponsor included on conference website and in the Final Programme Book.

Airport Shuttle Bus Service – Negotiable
Airport shuttles will be used on the first and last days of the conference.
Sponsor’s logo will be included on the conference website, inserted in the Final Programme Book and in the shuttle bus.

Conference Related Materials

Conference Website – SPONSORED
The conference website is the first contact point for most delegates, providing comprehensive information on all conference matters.  Sponsor’s logo will be placed on the pages relevant to the conference with text confirming that the website is sponsored by the company.  Logo will also be included in the Final Programme Book.

Note Pads/Pens – 100 EURO
Note pad and pens with sponsor’s name to be included in the conference bag.
Sponsor’s logo will appear on the website, and will be acknowledged in the Final Programme Book.

Certificate of Attendance – 100 EURO
Each participating delegate will receive a Certificate of Attendance.  Sponsor’s logo will appear on the certificate, and will be acknowledged in the Final Programme Book.

Conference Bag Insert – 100 EURO
Sponsors are welcome to contact the ECFS for the inclusion of a conference bag insert.

Final Programme Book – SPONSORED
Sponsorship of the production of the Final Programme Book (which includes conference abstracts) in approximately 100 copies. Sponsor’s logo with link to sponsor’s home page on the conference website and acknowledgement and logo in the Final Programme Book.

Best Poster Awards – 750 Euro
Sponsor’s logo included on Best Poster Award Certificates, on the conference website with a link to the sponsor’s home page, and in the Final Programme Book.

Symposium Sponsorship – Negotiable
Sponsors may support a particular symposium in the conference, but have no influence on the speakers, topics or organisation of the session. Sponsor’s logo will be on the conference website and in the Final Programme Book. Logo also to be inserted in front of the symposium supported.

Coffee Breaks/Welcome Reception/Poster Sessions/Social Function – Negotiable

Educational Grants

The ECFS welcomes educational grants towards the organisation of the conference.  The sponsor of the grant will be acknowledged on the conference website and in the Final Programme Book.
